S60 volvo question S60 2001

i have a 2001 S60 volvo that has have alot of trouble with.also fighting with volvo corp to get warranity parts fixed on it in the passed. i have owned 30 to 35 older volvo in my life,started in 1974 with a 544.NOW,please tell me? are the new S60 volvo worth anything? and what is with the S60 D3 (163hp) diesel and can you get the S60 volvo D3 diesel in america? any information would be most helpful. thanks for all your answers to all my question,kim
