Boy what a bunch of whiners! If you don't like it sell it!!! I have 24k on my S40...have I had some problems? yes! All minor, and all taken care of by myself or the dealer! I expect "some" problems on any new car...I'd only get upset when the problem keeps popping up again and again! Like many Brick owners, I want and expect my car to run like its brand new irregardless of the milage...we're picky! If you have problems, thats unfortunate, worse if you can't get a satisfactory resolution of the problem........but go easy blasting off on the Brickboard, save it for Volvo! Why do I love my S40?? 1. Safety 2. Economy 3. Handling 4. Quiet 5. Very smooth engine 6. Excellant brakes 7. Nice interior 8. Great dash cup holder...holds very large bev. containers 9. Over-all quality and 10. Very comfortable, supportive front seats!!! DISLIKES. 1. Radio speakers......and some day, I'll replace them! Thats all......just my opinion, I have had over the years a Volvo 240,Jetta Diesel,Rabbit,Peugeot,Fiat Strada,VW 411, and my very 1st car a '70 Chevy Chevelle sedan w/307 V8 and a sucky AM radio! Any way, got to got back to work.....and yes, "I love my Volvo S40", Bill,
