Key and Remote opener V70-XC70 2000

Just Purchased a 2000 V70 XC with 18000 miles on it. Great car but the seller had only one key and no remote opener-seems it was leased and then sold at auction- the dealer here wants $400 for another key and the "fob" remote opener, sounds a little nuts to me, and allows me to wonder if I'm going to need a Brinks Truck every time I visit the Dealer.. Does this sound correct?
