AWD: Steering Rack Removal V70-XC70 1998

Hi all! Would appreciate any suggestions on how best to remove the P/S rack from an AWD XC70? The subframe is dropped, everything's loose and the P/S rack gets hung up at the left fender well by the steering post and, in particular, between the drive shaft and subframe on the right. I can't imagine dropping the subframe even more.... Any guidance from someone who has actually done this job is appreciated. Also, any tips on more easily getting to the bolt that fastens the steering u-bolts to the PS rack? 1/32 of a turn at a time was tough! Thanks, all!
