impressed with local dealer V70-XC70 1998

O.K, I took the VO to the dealer for the first time since buying it to have a rear door lock replaced. Gotta admit I was aprehensive as my experience in the past with dealers has been less than stellar and this board has had plenty of rants about dealers. Anyhow made the appt, was offered a loaner or shuttle service but didn't need either and dropped the car off in the early morn. The Advisor was very friendly and took the time to walk around the car and discuss any concerns I had. He called me mid morning to explain that they had to order the lock motor from another city but would have the car ready by the time I left work. I had also asked them to rotate, balance the tires and check the alignment...roads are pothole fields this winter...all was done, the car washed and ready to go when I picked it up. No hassle, no excuses and fast friendly service. Just wanted to give credit to Crown Volvo, Greensboro, NC where it is due.
