can an OBDII code scan mess up my ECM? V70-XC70 2000

I had some folks at AutoZone check the codes on my car (nothing came up) since my TRACS/ABS lights are on but since that point the car has been running lousy after warmed up. Could anything have been the cause of that just from reading codes, since nothing was changed on the car from that point on.
