This sure pisses me off 850

Fine looking beasts, those. That red paint job is especially bright.
I'm not exactly sure of how things will play out yet. Once I got hit by a driver in the wrong, and for my completely paid-off Chevy Blazer, the insurance company presented me with a $6000 check. I don't expect that here, but if I got $3000, I might just keep this ol' beast and buy another. $3K + another 500 or more from savings could net a pretty nice 850, thereby keeping another on the road, and in my driveway. The damage is cosmetic, which definitely matters, but if I could get a red one--wifey LOVES red--maybe I could make a Volvo lover out of her.
But if I get only enough to get it fixed, I'll get it fixed. Sure would like to get a paint job out of it!
By the way, that $6000 check back in '96 got me this one, an '89 Volvo 760.
