Turned my 850 in today to the shop to get it fixed. The rental is a Ford Focus, and while it has some interesting attributes, I can sure feel the difference between excellent engineering, and lesser engineering. In fact, this Focus, which has just more than 30K on it has something wrong with the transmission or the clutch. It slips a little before taking when I hit the gas. I've driven it about 5 miles and I'm ready to have my Volvo back.
