Power convertible top on 2000 c70 C70

A fellow hasa 2000 volvo c70 for sale, and the main problem is teh convertible top doesnt work. It works manually and the top is in good shape. The retractable antennae is broken, and his explanation is when the antenna is broken the convertible motor wont work. He wants $2800 for the car with 134000 miles and a it includes a new timing belt and water pump. Good brakes, motor and transmission are good, its just teh convertible top that is a concern.
