How should I Renew a 2000 S70 GLT ?? S70 2000

1) Are they pointed down? I've noticed many people think brighter bulbs will solve everything, but when they're pointed out, all they do is shine in my eyes when you're behind me. IIRC adjusting angle is quite easy (I think it is same mechanism as in 850s, but not sure)

2) Could it be the ETS? They're prone to failure, and Volvo just replaces junk with junk. xeMODex.com sells a permanent fix (for $500..) and since they're all vehicle locked, you can't just pull one from the junkyard. I don't have experience with how this error comes about. Perhaps cleaning it and the throttle body is all that needs to be done.

3) What is wrong with the front cup holders? The clips/bottoms tend to break, so that might be why they're not working for you. Pull a working one from the junkyard for less than $10 and replace. Might need to pick up a small torx set, I can't remember the size of those screws. This set from HF has them down to T9, it might fit. You might need to go smaller, but the folding set is nice to have.

One thing to remember, ruining Torx heads isn't that hard. ALWAYS fit the largest bit you can into the hole. The folding set makes it nice to try one larger and see if it will fit. You can find sets online going down to T6...

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?
