A/c Compressor dead 850 1996

James Sousa is correct, opening the driver's window 1/4 inch will draw dry air in and suck the humid air out of the car, so long as you are moving.

Replacing the compressor is a pain. The receiver/dryer should be replaced at a minimum. PAG oil is added to the compressor. The entire system needs to be vacuumed out for about 20-30 minutes to remove all moisture.
