Hello,

My dad has a 1999 V70 T5 with a manual transmission. Nice. 145K miles.

I am more familiar with the 740/940. What are likely things to go wrong that would cause a break-down? What should be replaced preemptively?

Timing belt was done at 100K.

He recently has the PCV system worked on by Volvo - it cost $1600. Yikes. Does that sound right?
