well maintained "except V70-XC70 2002

I found a great deal on a 2002 xc70 with 145k miles. All service records oil,belts etc BUT I cant find anything on tranny service fluid changes OR the diff. oil. I know the trannies were the weak point on this year model and it seems to run strong. Would you (veteran volvo guys) roll the dice on this or should I look elsewhere? Again I do realize its a crap shoot just looking for your thoughts.....flush the tranny maybe right away with amsoil etc?
