v70 CODES p0106 AND p1004 V70-XC70

My 1999 v70 showed codes P0106 and P1004 . I read some posts referring to MAF sensor. I looked in the location , front passenger side wheel well towards the front. There is no sensor. There are two hoses but they are not attached to anything. I have had the car about 10 yrs and never had this problem before.
