Many Issues S80 2001

I know that I posted a while back about a couple of these but right now I am just frustrated with the Volvo dealer where I bought my car and so I am posting again so I can print it out with the hope that they will actually listen to me.

First issue is the heat does not turn on until I put the temperature above 78 degrees and I don't think that is supposed to happen but they couldn't find anything but charged me the $200 deductible (Volvo warranty) anyway. But I fought them a bit and now I have to bring it back in this Friday and they said if they find something I won't be charged again.

The other issue is that the fan runs for over an hour after I turn off the car and very loudly to the point where a couple of times various neighbors have come to the door to see if I forgot to shut my car off! Also, and this is sporatic, the blower comes on inside the car after I have left it from between 15-30 minutes. I never had that happen but they said they upgraded the system and that is normal as well.

So, again, any help here would be greatly appreciated so that I can have some better information as to what is "normal" and what is just them not wanting to honor the warranty on it.

Thank you in advance.
