Thanks x 2 and 1 question 850 1997

FYI - Thanks to those that have recently spoken (typed?) up after I've asked a couple of how-to questions.

First one was how to replace shift position indicator bulb. Was V-E-R-Y simple (bought the Haines manual as well...).

Second was a sticking fuel filler door lock release. Pulled the unit, lubed it up, no problems.

Now, I've noticed (a trend?) another problem.

The black trim that runs horizontally across the top of the windshield was flapping in the breeze today. I pushed it back in, but it isn't fitting very nice and tightly flush against the glass. Once loose, does this trim require replacement, vice simply reinstalling? Does it get soft and not fit as tight with age?

Thanks,

Barry
