2002 XC70 Eratic Transmission V70-XC70

I just bought a 2002 XC70 for a spare car and everything is in good shape except the transmission gets eratic after driven a few miles. I have had it checked and no problems or codes were found. However after driving it 20 to 25 miles it starts getting eratic. When switching from reverse to drive it can have a noticable pause/bump and the same from drive to reverse. Just had all motor and transmission mounts check today and they are good. Miles on car 145,000.
