I really don't like my V70 V70-XC70

Well, I like mine. It comes down to what few other new-ish vehicles met the need for what I was willing to spend. The need was long-distance comfort for my tall frame, car-like handling, enough interior space for a quadruped-heavy family to travel, and decent enough fuel economy to let me sleep at night. A used P2 or P3 wagon was honestly the best show in town.

Things that I don't like relative to my long-departed 745: It's missing a pedal, and the stick-like thing in front of the armrest is marked in gibberish (PRND+-) instead of numbers that I understand. I hear these are extremely widespread defects, and I continue to hope for an applicable TSB. Also, a modern engine of the same displacement as a B230 would have been plenty, especially without the defective shifting assembly.

That's about it. This is a nice car. I have been driving a Honda and a Toyota since '05...both good vehicles in their own Japanese way...but I'm glad to be back in something that I still recognize as a Volvo wagon.
