Failing Fabric on Sunroof 850 1995

I have a problem with the fabric on the interior of my sunroof shield. The material has separated almost completely from the shield itself. It is still attached at one end from corner to corner. I was wondering if anyone had advice on this. Is it repairable? What kind of adhesive works well and would last? It is messy or relatively easy? I would prefer to fix this up myself but I am a rookie in the DIY arena. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
