Fixed! 1998

That's where I started. about 20 minutes (and a lot of weird contortions) later I bench tested the switch good. open/closed on both pin-pairs showed Infinity/0 Ohms.

Started scratching my head and took a look at the fuses. That should have been the first stop.

#11 10A (Stop Lights) was blown. Surprised that it didn't give me a warning on that... Also wondering why it blew... Anyway. Fixed, but will have to monitor it more frequently.

I can move on to the next issue... a brand new exhaust leak! Yeah!
