Front hub assembly - What kind? How much? V70-XC70 1999

He's right, and the dealer list price is probably $160-180.

My father used to say 'you get what you pay for, if you're lucky'.

That said, sometimes original volvo is outrageous, because they buy standard parts in small quantities. Or it's a part that has very low demand in the aftermarket and they stock very little.

I was going to buy an aftermarket OEM serpentine belt tensioner. I checked with TASCA and they were CHEAPER. So I bought the original volvo even though my original equipment failed. I noticed the NEW original volvo part was not the same part that came off the car. But later I saw the aftermarket OEM and it was. The original volvo part I bought, was updated, and hopefully improved. It was easier to hold the tension back to install the belt, and the roller was different.
