rear wiper/washer issue on 850 wagon 850 1996

Okay, here is the deal. Rear wiper works but washer spray does not.

Now here is what I've done to this point.

Replaced the rear washer motor - it was dead!
cleaned and checked everything over as far as the washer fluid holding tank.
Cleaned and checked all of the lines in the engine compartment.
Re-assembled and proceeded to move down the passenger side of the wagon. checked out the trunk area hoses, filters, and nozzle. All clean and operational.

Turn car on press switch for fluid to come out of the nozzle onto the rear window but nothing.

Thinking its electrical, so I went to the liftgate and check the right side hinge area and looks clean, etc. dis-assembled the tape on the bend for which was all encased in a plastic protector, did not see an issue with the wires.

what color wires should I be concentrating on for this and is their any other micro switches on the back gate to make this work?
Does anyone have pics of the wires and lift gate area that I should be concentrating on?

Thanks.
