another ignition querie 850 1994

Hello again, when i removed the cowling from behind the steering wheel there is, on the top, a small electrical connector with 2 black wires going into it but, it is not connected to anything.

Does anyone know what it is?

I thought maybe for an option not fitted or something disconnected for some reason, i didn't see anywhere for it to go but then i had little time.
