Gear oil dispenser S70

A friend of mine was complaining about the slow process of adding gear oil to his differential. Of course my volvo doesnt have one, its fwd. But i thought i would ask everyone the mityvac product was any good or not? Given the small amount of plastic it seems really expensive.

I found a video and a link for it but give the product cost it seems expensive.
I was not able to find any reviews on it and i didnt want my friend to get something that was expensive and didnt work!
