Manual transmission and clutch 850 1993

As the owner of a 1993 850, I have come to love the Volvo marque for its quality and dependability. Therefore, I am planning to purchase another 850 to serve as our other family car. This 850 that I am looking at is a 1996 GLT sedan with the 5-speed manual. The car just turned 111,000 miles, and the owner has informed me that he has all maintenance records and does religious oil changes every 3,000 miles. He is a golf professional and does a lot of traveling; in fact, he just returned from Florida. I'm a little concerned about the manual tranny and clutch, however. What is the longest an 850 5-speed can survive on its original transmission and clutch before both need to be replaced or overhauled? I don't want to buy the car and have the gears popping out on me or the clutch just giving out.
