Re: Should I give the C70 Another Try? C70 1999

If I were to do it all over again, I would still buy the C70CV. I have greatly enjoyed the car, despite the many small problems. I often get compliments and it is a rare car (how many do you see?).

On the other hand, in a couple years, when I'm ready for a new car, would I buy another? No, and I may not even buy another Volve.

The reasons: The Dealerships & Service Departments

I too have been anonyed by the constant small problems with the car. Yet, I am very picky and am not satisfied unless everything is working exactly the way I think and expect it to.... Nonetheless, these small problems have been aggravated by the reception and response I get from the various dealers & service departments with which I have had to deal. This is really the biggest disappointment I have had with my car. In other words, not the car, but the dealership. It gets very frustrating dealing with antagonistic dealers/service reps. I could handle the small problems, really no major mechanical or functional problems (except for the windows) with my car, but my experience with the dealers and service departments will be the main reason why I seriously consider a non-Volvo car for my next purchase.
