Yet another oddity has popped up 850

I hopped in the 850 yesterday to head to work and noticed my dash lights were all off. That is to say all the illuminated stuff--speedometer, fuel gage, etc. I tried working the slide control to turn it up from dark to light, but it was already fully on.
At one point, they all came on for a fraction of a second, and were gone as quickly as they came on. That suggests to me a short.
Another possible clue is that I got my oil changed at one of those fast oil change places the night before the morning the lights disappeared. I'm wondering if there's a connector or something that they accidentally dislodged from where it belongs.
Anyway, If you've any suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks!
