auto-down window control V70-XC70 1999

The auto-down function works only 90%. When I press the down switch, the auto-down function starts, then the window stops about 3 inches from the bottom. I press it again and it goes all the way down. So far, this is the only problem I experience with any of the windows. Is this a problem with the switch? Mechanism? I don't really mind this but don't want to neglect something that can grow into something worse. I would hate for the window to quit altogether or have the regulator bind and tear something up.

Any ideas?
