Interesting fix for no start 850 1994

The nickname for it is - lawnmower syndrome - you move your Volvo to get the mower out, then your car won't start

I have seen numerous posts about it.

If you took your car to a dealer, they would change your spark plugs, oil, and filter. Just to make sure your oil is not full of fuel.

Rule of thumb - never start your 5 cylinder unless you intend to warm it up.

I have heard a few theories about its cause.

My own theory - the only thing in the engine that gets hot during a short run is the exhaust valves - they stick in their guides limiting compression = no start and cranking a bit faster.
