S40 Sunroom S40-V40

Just bought a 2001 S40 with Sunroof. Sunroof works but you have to guess where the closed position is by flicking the rocker switch {had an 1989 760 w/the same problem- you would think that 12 years later that problem would be gone}.
Also, there is no sliding cover in case you don't want the sun shining on your head when the glass is closed. Can't find one on any parts diagram, so not sure if there is even supposed to be one? If there is, what is it made of? Is it cloth or rigid material?
