Remote Lock Transmitter 850 1994

Just bought a '94 850 Turbo. It's RED and it hauls!

I've been able to find an amazing wealth of information on this site.

While trolling around in the archives I came across a post that claimed you could get extra range from the remote lock transmitter by holding it up to your chin while you use it. Guess what? It works!

My real question is, does anyone know of a more practical way to get the transmitter to work. I have to be so close to the car I might as well use the key and it's hard to hold up to my chin when I'm loaded down with groceries (it has a fresh battery).
