no start S60 S60

I went out and pulled the ignition switch and turned it with a screwdriver. No luck. Same results as using the key, no engagement of the starter.

I agree that the key lock will need replaced, but I don't suspect that it would prevent the car from starting, only if it would not rotate. It does rotate but I eliminated that by using the screwdriver. I ordered the immobilizer ring from Swedish engineering. Not sure what else at this point could be causing no starter engagement, unless it is the starter itself. But since it was only about a year since it was replaced, very unlikely. Thanks again.
