Turbo Trouble 850 1996

Klaus, my original post I mistakenly posted the "Oil Return" line when it was the oil feed line that he told my wife. This actually makes a little more sense because I have an oil leak along with the smoke. We took it in to a mechanic because it was doing a little smoking in August, mostly on deceleration and with no noise from the turbo. By September the smoke and oil consumption had increased quite a bit I'm not sure but I don't think I'm hearing any turbo noise. So would your comment about replacing the seal still apply to the feed line?? That would be so much better news than doing the whole turbo. Also I couldn't I replace the seals and maybe the line and even if it was the turbo I would have that part of the job done?
