Garbage TPS valve stems V70-XC70 2009

What's up with this? I dragged my winter wheels out this morning and found that the three year old TPS valve stems have disintegrated. The white metal nuts have rotted off the threaded steel stems leaving me with only fear to hold the air in. I'll call the dealer in the AM and expect not much. Probably will wind up with conventional valve stems. The factory items strike me as a major safety hazard. Can I blame the government mandated TPS on Elizabeth Dole?
