Replace speakers, keep enclosures 850 1995

Sorry if duplicate, thought I posted this earlier today but can't find it.

I want to upgrade/replace the rear speakers in a '95 854 that has the ht-259 speakers.

- Will aftermarket speakers fit in those enclosures or do I need to use the speaker grills that come with the new speakers?

- I think the stock speakers are 6x9's, are all 6x9 speakers the same size & shape or do I need to look for a specific brand/model?

I'd like to maintain the stock look and keep the installation as simple as possible.

This is my son's car, if it makes a difference he is looking in Infinity Kappa-something 3 way 6x9 speakers.
