How's the Turbo motor and trans? 850 96

Looking at a 96 with 64k miles. Guy says it was serviced every 5-7k miles. When he could get it in.

Seems to drive well, no serious problems.

Guy seemed to like it's sportiness and probably drove it spirited at times.

1. sounds like timing belt is necessity...how much should it cost?

2. how do trans hold up?

3. never had anything major repaired he claims. is there anything that I should seriously be checking.
