Trip Computer 850

I currently have a 94 NA 850 with the LCD display in the instrument cluster that displays the outside temperature and the time. I see the upgraded version (trip, mpg, avg. speed, etc) on ebay for $50 and it includes the switch that gets installed in the panel beneath. Is this a simple plug and play upgrade? The one I see on ebay came off a 93/94 850. Has anyone tried this in the past? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. By the way, it's going for $50 on ebay. I need to replace the lights behind the cluster so was thinking of upgrading while I have it all apart.
