starting issues 850 1995

Wifes 855 having trouble starting. New Battery, Recently tuned up, plugs, wires, rotor cap. MDS coil. Fuel pump replaced 5 years ago. New O2 sensors 2 years ago. New ignition switch a couple years ago. All OEM parts, except MDS coil. Thinking its either catalytic converter?? or possible fuel relay. Starter turns engine over fine, no corrosion on any maIn connections. Any thoughts? I have not checked for rattle or temp differential before and after cat, but plan on that this weekend. No check engine light and just passed CA Smog test.
