Add Subwoofer? C70 1998

Hi, I need some advice regarding some sound system aspect of the car. I want to install an Alpine Basslink Self-Amplified Subwoofer to the trunk of the car. However, I have no idea on whats the best way to hook it up the the stereo sound system. Because of the different modes (Dolby, 3CH) outputs from the receiver, I am not sure where to connect the signal of the subwoofer to. It seems as if each sound mode will have a different effect to each speaker. Also, I think this car has an amplifier built-in already. I don't know if there is any connection available to the apmplifier itself to the subwoofer. And where is the amp located at anyway? Any info or suggestions will be greatly appreciated... THANKS!

Leo
