Why are there no remanufactured 5 cyl engines available? V70-XC70 2000

I recently purchased a low mileage 2000 V70/XC AWD SE with 98,000 miles that I had intended to be my daughter's first car. I bought it knowing the head gasket was bad. I still plan to repair the engine in the car but since I have four 5 cyl Volvo's I'm very curious about the options.

I started looking around for replacement engines and have found some used engines in all the usual places. Curiously though I have not been able to find a remanufactured or rebuilt engine for these 5 cylinder Volvos.

Does anyone know why? Is a dealer the only source for a fresh engine?
