Re: Current Drain on Battery 850 1996

Hi,

I had the same problem with a current drain arount .3 = 300ma. The battery would run down after about 3 - 4 days sitting, I belive the battery is about 55 amphr. After fixing the problem, it dropped to the range of 20-50ma = .02 - .05 (pulsates I think from the alarm system or computer). The current drain turned out to be a glove light that was staying on with it closed. The other common failure is a trunk light staying on. You can determine this by elimination ( pulling fuses). Make sure the doors are closed, and accessories off for this. .3A is about what one of the small lamps draws.
