No start around St. Cloud 850 1997

A frozen fuel filter is easy to check. Turn the key to position II a few times and immediately cover the schrader valve at the end of the fuel line with a cloth and push the valve stem. If no fuel comes out, you might have a frozen line or... frozen fuel filter or... a bad pump or... water in the bottom of the tank.

A hair drier on the fuel filter will thaw it out. Do NOT disconnect the fuel line to see if any gas comes out while the key is moved to posII, the flow rate is tremendous! (unless you have a helper with a connected plastic tubing and a 2L bottle)

With the advent of ethanol, gasline/tank freezing has been minimized because the water mixes with the alcohol.
