Recommendations for Replacement Speakers V70-XC70 1998

My speakers are distorted at high volume/bass. I have the SC 816 radio with changer. Any suggestions for replacement speakers that will equal the quality of the OEM, and also price? Volvo VIP just sent me a letter telling me that the speakers are not covered on the extended warranty.
