Give up the 850? 850 1997

My wife's 1997 850 GLT LPT has about 200k (the odometer stopped at 131k miles). We have had it since 1999. I learned about Volvos and repairs from this website. So this is a sad day to consider giving it up but:

It will no longer pass smog in CA because the computer will not reset. I have been thru all the reset stuff and even had the dealer try (that is another long dealer story: they told me to junk the car but at the same time they put on a new overflow tank cap and tried to charge me $20!)

The body and paint are in very good shape, and it runs like a champ but I can't sell it in CA without passing smog. So I applied to the State buyback program and am waiting to hear. They buy cars for $1000. It's got beautiful wheels, sunroof, etc. Most everything works except a few minor things: the antenna needs a new mast. But with the kids gone, I have four cars and two drivers. If anyone wants to offer me more than $1000.....
