Give up the 850? 850 1997

I thought the computer "resets" itself every time you turn the car off in the 95-97 turbo. I am assuming that it is reading as "not ready" when they try to check all the codes. If you do the drive cycle and you DON'T turn the car off, will it work? Here's the drive cycle, just don't do the last step. .

Wouldn't swapping the computer for $20-30 be cheaper that having to buy a new car (even with the $1000 CA pays you)? Just pick and pull from a junkyard.

Finally, I thought the 850 turbos were exempt in CA because of the difficulty the CA computer has talking with the Volvo computer. .

If you're not driving it "like its stolen," are you really driving?
