Help-SC-816 radio skipping some tracks V70-XC70 1998

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the recent tips recently about my CD not accepting the CD.

I reset the microswith according to Volvospeed and it has worked great:

Now I have a different problem but has been around since we purchased the car: on certain tracks, let say track # 8 and 10, of certain CDs (these are good CDs by Phillips), the CD playre skips them and plays them so fast that they cannot be heard.

This happened even when the car is stationary.

The CD however plays very well with the 120-volt-CD player in the house.

Does this mean a new CD player or just live with it?
