Fuel sender or hoses leaking V70-XC70 1998

Hello,
A while back I posted that on my 98 V70 there was fuel leaking from the top of the tank. Today I had a friend pressurize the tank via the filler hose with compressed air while I watched the top of the fuel sender. The center part where the hoses ho in started filling up with gas as he pressurized the system. I think either the hose connections leak, or the sender's plastic body has a crack.

Does anybody know how to remove the hoses from the sender? It looks like the sender is held in with a plastic cap, kind of like a marmalade jar.

Thanks,

Csaba
