Re: CODE 425 "check engine" C70 1997

That code is for "rear O2 sensor control" and there's several possible causes:

-Uneven compression (not likely)

-Air leakage in the intake system (very likely.....check for vacuum leaks, a bad vacuum hose as I've seen that with that code before too)

-air leakage in the exhaust system (you'ld hear it, exhaust leak)

-faulty fuel and residual pressure (your dealer should have checked that too, not likely IMHO)

-defective rear O2 sensor (also possible)
