Emergency! Seat Back is stuck forward !?! C70 1998

Hi all, having a hard time getting information on the emergency fix for this problem.

My wife had my C70. She flipped the front seat forward and now it is locked. I can't get it to release. Pulled the release strap and the lever. They seem to be connected and I can hear something moving, but the seat won't release.

Sounds like the Y-cable is snapped. It's cold as heck right now and I need this car. Is there an emergency release to get the seat tilted back to the right position?

It's not the time or place to pull out the entire seat. need some help - pictures would be even better!
