Instrument cluster not working

Weird, really weird!
-guages not working
-car starts and runs well, maybe a little rougher then normal
-check battery and reads 1300 amps yikes
-recently replaced alternator, 1 month ago
-Advanced Auto read out says Alternator good
- some readings were inconsistant
-put in diff battery stated fine guages work for couple of seconds then went dead, car still ran,
- head lights still work.

My guess would have been volt reg but reading at advanced says OK.

Trying to get car to nearby city to have sun roof glass replaced. Crazy, had in heated garage bout 60F and drove outside and glass shattered. Was about 15F when I went outside with car.

Anyway electrics issue preventing from getting SR glass fixed.
